Monday is here again so we look back at last weeks best of the web (in our humble opinion!). Last week we witnessed Google accusing Bing of cheating, a glimpse of current design trends taken from the web back to 1999 and a nice little URL shortener!
Google: Bing Is Cheating, Copying Our Search Results
Google has run a sting operation that it says proves Bing has been checking out what people search for on Google. The ‘sting’ operation involved Google adding an unusual word to their index then returning a honeypot page, basically a brand new page with no inbound links. Cardiff Underground Map
Our favorite fun site of the week is this excellent Cardiff Underground map by Christian Amodeo, the brains behind T-shirt brand I Loves the ‘Diff. Although it is relatively easy to get around here in Cardiff the map has made us think how handy a metro system would be for Cardiff!
